The zoo has 3 Alligator. These animals are all rescue animals.

     Our 1st alligators is about 27 years old and seven or eight foot long, he was given to us at just a couple years old and a foot and a half long the other alligator is 14 to 20 years old and now over 6 feet long. Both were given to us as a result of becoming too much for the owners to handle. Both of these animals are outside only about 5 to 5 1/2 months a year. The alligator have heated water to get into in the evenings to stay warm. They enjoy basking in the sun during the days. We have built a building to house the Alligator, Tortoise, Lemur and other animals that require heat. This building has indoor and outdoor areas so that the animals will not have to be moved during the winter months.
