What is the Adopt-An-Animal program at the GarLyn Zoo?
The Adopt an Animal program is something new for GarLyn Zoo.
The program is designed so that members of the public can support their
favorite animal at the GarLyn Zoological Park. Whether you have visited
GarLyn Zoo in the past or just feel we are a worth while project, Adopt
an Animal is a great way to show your support.
By becoming a Zoo parent, you help provide for the following:
Improvements to and maintenance of the animals
habitats
Lifestyle and environmental enhancements for the
animals
Acquisition of animals for the zoo, both
purchased and rescued
All funds received from the Adopt an Animal program go into the
general operating fund at the GarLyn Zoo and are used to purchase food
and contribute to the general care of the animals.

When you adopt an animal you will receive the following:

A personalized Adopt An Animal certificate
A 5 x 7 picture of the animal you have selected.

animals who live there.
$50.00
you'll receive:
A personalized Adopt An Animal certificate
A 5 x 7 picture of the animal you have selected.
An Adoption Magnet
Your name displayed on the GarLyn Zoo's Adoption
Center sign displayed in our Gift Shop.

$75.00 you'll receive:
A personalized Adopt An Animal certificate

All adoptions are valid for one full year. Please remember that
animals are living creatures. At GarLyn Zoo most of the animals are here
until they pass away from old age or illness. If your adopted animal
leaves our Zoo, your adoption will be transferred to another animal. All
adopted animals remain in the care of the GarLyn Zoo and no ownership
rights are conferred by this "adoption."
